The following changes were made:

openmediavault 0.5.58

• Improve upgrade script. The nut, ldap and iscsitarget plugins must be deinstalled before upgrade, otherwise the installation fails.
• Improve upgrade script. Fix issue when upgrading from squeeze-lts.
• Modify help text in omv-release-upgrade script.
• Improve pre upgrade scripts.
• Check whether a directory is still used as mount point before unlinking. This is done to prevent data loss when the device or resource is busy.

We are pleased to announce the release date of OMV version 1.0 which will be at 15. September 2014.

OpenMediaVault has been elected as project of the month (September 2014) at SourceForge. Read a short interview here.

We have switched the forum software. The old forum is available via http://phpbb.openmediavault.org will be read-only then. New users can’t register to the old forum anymore, they have to use the new one.

The new forum supports now Tapatalk.

OpenMediaVault has been selected for the ballot for september – community choice – SourceForge project of the month. The vote is conducted on SourceForge and runs through Aug 24th.
